Integrative Medicine team?
Unlike other providers, our team is trained in integrative and functional medicine, meaning they take the time to listen to you, take a root-cause approach to diagnosing your concerns, and utilize nutrition, herbs, lifestyle changes, and cutting-edge testing to not only reverse and prevent disease, but to help you thrive.
An option for everyone
All patients begin with our Wellness Assessment. During this visit, you’ll get up to 90 minutes to explain your health history and start to uncover clues to the root cause(s) of your concerns. After this visit, you’ll choose the model of care that meets your needs.
Our Wellness Assessment has a one time charge of $550. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward the cost of your visit. After your Wellness Assessment, you’ll be able to choose between our membership & a la carte options.
Complex cases requiring additional clinical prep — such as reviewing past labs, medical records, or coordinating with your care team — will be billed at $700. This allows your provider to dedicate the time needed to get up to speed before your first visit, so we can hit the ground running on your healing journey.

Common questions about our practice
What is included in my membership?
Members in our practice are billed on a monthly basis for a set of services and are not the same as a la carte patients who are billed at time of services rendered.
Your membership with us covers all the visits & messaging you may need during the length of your plan.
- Complete Care Membership
- 6 month plan = 180 minutes to be used in 30 or 60 minute increments
- 12 month plan = 360 minutes to be used in 30 or 60 minute increments
- Unlimited messaging with your doctor and health coach
- Discount on all labs, supplements (both in-office and online), IV’s, & injections
- What’s not included:
- Cost of laboratory testing, healthcare services provided by MIMC but not specified as included above (such as IV’s, vitamin injections, etc) medical or non-medical services recommended by MIMC but provided by others (such as specialist referrals, acupuncture or exercise classes), products recommended by MIMC (such as clean beauty, clean cookware, etc.)
Can my membership be covered by insurance?
- We do not contract with insurance providers, and would be considered an out-of-network specialist. However, we can provide you with a superbill that can be submitted to insurance and your policy may cover services according to their discretion.
- Due to being out-of-network, we do not directly bill your insurance company, nor are we able to file claims, or check benefits on your behalf. We have partnered with Reimbursify to help support patients in utilizing their out-of-network benefits.
- We cannot provide a superbill for participants of Medicare, Medicaid, or MN Care. We are not eligible participants for any of these programs.
- In most cases, FSA/HSA dollars may be applied to visits, tests, supplements and botanical medicines. This is dictated by your individal plan.
Can I see MIMC for just a one time visit?
- Membership is the core of our philosophy. Our vision is to help you see results, and many results are not seen overnight. We believe that a meaningful relationship with your practitioner is core to both reversing disease, and preventing future illness. Our model allows for continuous care and the opportunity to work with our team over time at an affordable price.
- With that being said, yes, you can see our doctors on an a la carte basis. Paying visit per visit does not come with any messaging with your care team (only our adminstrative team) and all other services outside of visits will be billed at our a la carte fee schedule.
What type of testing do you perform?
We believe in a data-driven approach to medicine. Getting to the root cause and establishing a diagnosis allows us to use the best of research and clinical wisdom to formulate a personalized treatment plan.
We offer a wide range of testing options including blood, stool, urine, saliva, breath & various sample swabs. This tool box allows us to get the data we need to make objective decisions.
We don’t package labs together, giving us the flexibility to be specific, cost efficient and code appropriately to help you submit for reimbursement.
I've seen functional/integrative doctors before, how are you different?
The words integrative and functional are slowly being diluted as their popularity is on the rise. Our clinic focuses on practicing integrative medicine meaning, applying western medicine research, pathophysiology, diagnoses and testing to eastern medicine philosophies to treatment.
If your experience with functional medicine resulted in just replacing prescriptions with natural products to treat the symptoms but didn’t actually address the root cause, we hope to provide you with a very different experience.
If your experience with functional medicine resulted in a revolving door of supplements dictated by uncommon methodology, we’ll provide you with an experience where objective data dictates your care.
