Dr Danielle Vogler Bos

In times of uncertainty, we need our support systems the most. Having a network of people who care about and are dedicated to your wellbeing is crucial to ensuring your holistic health. That’s why Minneapolis Integrative Medicine Center is continuing to expand our team by adding a new doctor to our roster: Dr. Danielle Vogler-Bos, a Naturopathic Doctor with a passion for helping you live your best, healthiest life.

We pride ourselves on providing accessible, well-rounded integrative medicine that treats both your acute and your ongoing medical concerns by combining the best of conventional and holistic care. We work in collaboration with each other and with you to really listen to your entire health journey—and then we partner together to find treatments that are accessible and effective. Welcoming Dr. Vogler-Bos to MIMC is one of the ways we’re diversifying and optimizing to meet your needs in the best way. Here’s more about why we’re so excited to add her to our team.

Meet Dr. Vogler-Bos

Dr. Danielle Vogler-Bos is a Naturopathic Doctor, registered and licensed in both Minnesota and Arizona. Her passion is educating and empowering her patients to take back their health, partnering with them to find the root cause of their struggles, and helping them feel better, faster. After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology, Dr. Vogler-Bos earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, a fully accredited and nationally recognized institution in Phoenix, AZ. During her clinical training, Dr. Vogler-Bos completed a rigorous internship gaining experience in the treatment of hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, and adrenal fatigue using both traditional naturopathic medicine and bio-identical hormone therapies.

What made you want to be a Naturopathic Doctor?

Oh, where to begin?! Looking back on my journey, I believe that there has been significant, life-transforming movements, big and small, that have directed me to pursue a career in Naturopathic Medicine. I would say that the first seed was planted as a little girl. I grew up receiving medical gloves and surgical caps from my aunt and uncle who both still practice medicine in Indiana, and so anytime someone would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say “I want to be a pediatrician.” I am not sure if at that time if I knew what that meant, but the idea of working in the medical field stayed with me throughout my studies.

Then, there was my mother’s health, which impacted me most personally and profoundly. She suffered from debilitating chronic migraine headaches that often affected her ability to go about her day. There were unanswered questions about the causation of the consistency of the migraines, and after many second opinions from different physicians, there was not much relief, only temporary band-aids from the constant pain.

It was years later, after my family relocated, that my mother received care from a team of Naturopathic Doctors and holistic practitioners. They were able to provide alternative approaches that ultimately provided healing results compared to the primarily pharmaceutical-driven methodologies.

Combine those two ingredients in a recipe of other “seeds,” including personal stories I had heard from strangers, my opportunity to shadow every department of the Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, MN, and my personal investigation, and I realized that the principles of Naturopathic Medicine resonated within me. It ultimately drew me to my purpose to empower people to take back their health, and to feel their absolute best with each year to come.

What entices you about MIMC?

I am delighted to be joining the MIMC team as they have been nothing but warm and welcoming during my relocation process. They have shown to be transparent, genuine individuals who have a passion for being their patients’ biggest health advocates. In addition, Dr. Cassie Wilder, owner & founder, has ensured that MIMC is a beautiful space that fosters a place for healing and personal growth.

How will another Naturopathic Doctor help support patients at MIMC?

From Dr. Cassie: Collaboration is one of the biggest perks of membership at MIMC—our entire team here works together to treat patients. We partner one-on-one with patients to learn about their background, and get a root-cause diagnosis. Then, we pull information from all of our backgrounds and specialties. The result? A tailored-to-you treatment plan that gives you access to the full gambit of our team’s knowledge. We’re always working to ensure we do what’s best for every individual!

Work with our team of expertly trained integrative medicine professionals.

What specialties are you excited about working on with MIMC clients?

I specialize in hormone optimization for both men and women, all designed to help you achieve a healthier, natural way of life. You can also see me for:

  • Gastrointestinal wellness: Having gut or digestive issues that no one can seem to solve? Dealing with food allergies or blood sugar management? I treat everything from indigestion to complicated gut problems.
  • Fatigue, weight loss or gain, brain fog, or hair loss: These can all be signs that something else is going on in your body. Together, we can figure it out!
  • Sexual wellness: If low libido or testosterone is an issue, I can help support you. Or, if you’re looking for contraception methods or are struggling with fertility, we can partner to diagnose and create a treatment plan that’s right for you.
  • Hormone imbalances: I can help with adrenal stress management, and all things related to menstruation, from irregularities (PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, and painful periods) to menopause/andropause.
  • Thyroid issues: Dealing with a thyroid disorder like hypothyroid, hyperthryoid, or Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis? We can work together to find you relief.
  • Skin concerns: Struggling with acne, eczema, or psoriasis? I can help find the root cause!

What’s one thing any new patient should know about you?

I believe in being the best version of yourself! I am proud to be me in this continuous journey called life, and I want the same for you.

If you could recommend one thing EVERYONE should be doing, what would it be?

Yes! I love this question. I would recommend everyone should go outdoors! Many of us already know that we waste so many precious moments on our electronics or with work. I believe we would all be a little less stressed and a lot happier if we spent even a fraction of that time in nature. It could be reading a book under a tree or strolling through the park with your loved one. It could be getting a group of friends to tackle a trail or play an outdoor sport. Create those memories. Sunshine and fresh air are some of nature’s greatest gifts.

Coffee or tea (or something else)?

Let’s just say coffee is not my cup of tea. 😉

What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday morning?

My favorite thing to do is go on an adventure. Typically, a Saturday morning entails hiking a new trail with my “good vibe tribe.” I have been fortunate to see some stunning views.

What are the first three things you do when you get home from work?

  1. Say hello to both my husband & our “Piglet,” an all-white cat we rescued.
  2. Immediately change into some comfy clothes. *Cue the sweatpants.*
  3. Either help make dinner, or help sample the dinner. What?! A girl’s gotta eat.
